Terms & Conditions
Introduction
By applying to join Thaiso International Education Co., Ltd. (“Thaiso”), you (“Participant”) agree to these Terms and Conditions. This agreement is made with Thaiso International Education Co., Ltd., a company registered under the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. These Terms apply to all participants, whether applying directly or through a partner institution.
Important Note: Participation in Thaiso programmes is voluntary. Thaiso does not provide employment or wages. Programme fees paid by participants cover accommodation, meals, and logistical support only.
Programme Participation
All programmes are voluntary and non-employment based.
Participants are expected to follow local project hours, usually five days per week, not exceeding eight hours per day.
Accommodation, meals, and basic local transport are provided during your placement unless you choose to arrange your own.
Independent travel costs are your responsibility.
Insurance
You must have valid travel insurance covering medical expenses, evacuation, cancellation, and personal belongings.
Proof of insurance may be requested before or during your programme.
Flights
Flight arrangements are subject to airline rules.
Tickets are generally non-refundable and non-transferable.
Thaiso International Education Co., Ltd. is not responsible for airline cancellations or delays, though we will assist where possible.
Complaints and Conduct
If you have a complaint, please raise it first with your supervisor or Thaiso staff.
Thaiso reserves the right to take disciplinary action for misconduct, including substance abuse, absenteeism, or violation of local laws.
A zero-tolerance policy applies to illegal drugs and underage alcohol consumption.
Amendments and Cancellations
Changes to your programme must be confirmed in writing.
Cancellation charges depend on how far in advance notice is given.
Refunds exclude non-refundable deposits and external costs (flights, visas, insurance).
No refunds are available once the programme has started, except at Thaiso’s discretion.
Responsibility and Liability
Thaiso International Education Co., Ltd. cannot accept liability for events beyond our control (Force Majeure).
Paid work during the programme is prohibited.
All services are subject to the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand.
Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. The courts of Thailand have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
Data Protection
Thaiso International Education Co., Ltd. will handle participant information responsibly and in accordance with Thai data protection laws. Your information will never be sold or traded to third parties.
